Joylyn is an avid musician and has been studying violin for about 13 years. She is currently the concertmaster of the Norwalk Youth Symphony and Hopkins high school orchestra in Connecticut. Leading ~ 40+ student musicians in the symphony, Joylyn enjoys the challenge of the leadership role as well as the strong bond built with other equally passionate musicians. In the past two summers, Joylyn studied music theory and performance with leading professionals at Interlochen and Eastman School of Music. She is also proud to receive top prizes in several music competitions, including the American Protege Int’l Concerto Competition. Joylyn plans to continue studying music in college.
