
Jules Amyot is a 6th grader in Washington, DC. Jules has been playing both the violin and the cello for more than 8 years and is an active musician in regional orchestras and Chamber groups. Jules attended prestigious summer festivals like The Philadelphia International Music Festival, MCYO Summer String Week, and the Junior Cello Division of the Heifetz International Summer Institute.
On the cello, Jules has won top prizes from the Charleston International Music Competition, the AAMS Piano, String, Voice, & Woodwind Competition, the Young Musicians Inspiring Change, the Annual Joseph and Goldie Feder Memorial String Competition, and the Great Composers Competition.
On the violin, Jules won second place in the 2022 Baroque Music Competition and the 2023 19th Century Music Competition of The Charleston International Music Competition.
Jules also enjoys Capoeira and tennis, and he is fluent in French and Mandarin.
