Juliana Natalia Fretska

Juliana Fretska was born in Vienna in 2004. She began violin lessons at the age of three, and gave her first public performance at a music festival in Dubrovnik when she was just four years old. From 2010 to 2015 she participated in Professor Marina Sorokowa’s class for exceptionally talented young musicians at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She has also been studying piano with Jadwiga Padjas M.A. since the age of four.Juliana Fretska has given several public performances both as a violinist and a pianist. In 2012, 2014 and 2018 she was awarded 1st prizes with distinction at the Austrian competition for young musicians “Prima la Musica”. The young violinist had her first appearance as a soloist with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of Ivo Drazinic in July 2015. She won several prizes such as the first prize in the Spezzaferri Competition in 2022.
