Justin Kijun Lee

Justin Kijun Lee, 10, was born in South Korea where he started to study cello at age 5 and found his instinct to love the beauty of cello. Soon after his family moved to Virginia, USA, he continued to study cello where his passion increased even more. He won many awards and prizes including Washington National Youth Competition (2018), American Protége Piano & String Competition (2019), Joseph and Goldie Feder Memorial String Competition (2019), CAI Virtuoso competition (2019), ENKOR international music competition (2021), American Music Talent competition (2022), King’s Peak international music competition (2022), YMIC Virtuoso international music competition (2022). Justin was awarded performances at Carnegie Hall twice. He is currently studying with Sung Hee Choi where he develops a deep understanding of music. Aside from playing the cello, Justin enjoys playing golf, folding complex origami models and solving challenging math problems.
