Justin Lee is 8 years old and currently attends Alum Creek Elementary School in Lewis Center, Ohio. He began studying piano in August 2023 and has been studying under the guidance of Dr. Vivien Huiwen Jiang-Vizurraga. In 2026, Justin earned his ABRSM Grade 5 Piano Performance Certificate with Distinction. Since beginning his piano studies, he has performed in seven piano recitals and has continued to develop his musical skills through regular performances and competitions.
Justin has received several awards in national and international piano competitions, including: Second Place Winner in the 2025 American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, Young Musicians (Ages 5–10), and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Second Prize in the Duet Division of the 2025 Charleston International Music Competition – International Piano Competition. First Prize in the 2024 Charleston International Music Competition – 20th Century Music Division. Silver Prize in Performance at the 2024 American Classical Music Awards.
Outside of music, Justin enjoys taekwondo, swimming, chess, basketball, soccer, and playing video games.
