Kabir Mahajan is a Sophomore at Gunn High School. He first started playing music at the age of 5, when he started playing piano. He started playing the saxophone when he was 11, and he currently studies with Dr. Michael Hernandez. He’s played in the Gunn Wind Ensemble, the Gunn Big Band, San Jose State University’s Saxophone Ensemble, the San Jose Saxophone Choir, the Santa Clara County Saxophone Choir, the Triquetra Quartet, and Dr. Michael Hernandez’s Studio Quartet.
