Kahley Jane Mitchell

Kahley Mitchell is pursuing a B.M in flute performance at Penn State University. Before attending university, she was principal flutist of The Capitol Symphonic Youth Orchestra, Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra, and was featured with the Ozark Philharmonic Youth Orchestra on the Reinecke Flute Concerto.

Currently, she is a part of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic Orchestra and gives regular performances with her Flute Quartet at Penn State University. She was awarded the Eleanor Beene Memorial Scholarship, the Christine Miller Junker and Philip Junker Music Scholarship, as well as a Jury Honor’s Award.

Kahley is a student of Dr. Naomi Seidman.
