Kaissy Yau is the recent recipient of the prestigious Presser Scholar Award. Born in Hong Kong, Kaissy has appeared as a soloist with a multitude of ensembles around the globe and is the prizewinner of several competitions. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Performance degree at the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Development and at the Eller College of Management. In her spare time, Kaissy is an avid horse rider who also competes for the University of Arizona’s Equestrian Team.
