Kayla is an 8th grade violinist who studies under Zhao Wei. She is a member of the CYS Senior Orchestra, and in the season of 2022 – 2023, Kayla was the CYS Associate Orchestra Co-Concertmaster. She has won numerous competitions such as the Junior Bach Festival and the Silicon Valley Music Competition. She has additionally participated in the Korean-American Music Supporters’ Association (KAMSA) in 2023, and attended the Summer Music Institute at Tateuchi Hall in 2022. In addition to her solo music journey, Kayla participates in community services and is a member of the Back to Bach Project.
