
Keerthisri Kannan has been studying the flute for seven years with Robert P’orecca. She has participated in numerous ensembles, including the CJMEA High School Symphonic Band, and is principal flute in her school wind ensemble. She has been recognized internationally by American Protege and by the International Grande Music Competition, and has also been awarded in statewide competitions such as ArtsedNJ. She will be participating in masterclasses with renowned flute player Carol Wincenc and composer Yuko Uébayashi this upcoming summer. In addition, she also learns Carnatic flute with Maestro Shashank Subramanyam, and won first prize in the National Cleveland Aradhana 2023.
