Keira May began playing the piano at age 4 with her grandmother. It wasn’t long until she joined the Denver-based Children’s Music Academy and studied under Ms. Tira VanderVegt for 4 years. Following her completion of the academy’s Masters course, she began studying with Laura Klein at the age of 9. Now 14, she is in 8th grade, is on the Honor Roll, and enjoys playing soccer, reading fantasy fiction books, and playing piano with her grandma. Her favorite composer is Debussy.
