Kelby Yoder is a classically trained Tenor, currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Iowa under the instruction of Dr. Rachel Joselson. Kelby started his vocal training at the age of 15, where he studied under Robert Lindsey-Nassif.
Kelby was a part of Show Choir during his years in High School and he won multiple Best Male Soloist titles during those years. He also took part in Group and Individual Speech and Drama where he made it to All-State for Musical Theatre. More recently, Kelby participated with the Cedar Rapids Follies as an ensemble member and a soloist. He has worked with the Cedar Rapids Opera House as a chorus member in their production of La Traviata and most recently was an ensemble member in the University of Iowa’s Productions of Light in the Piazza and H.M.S. Pinafore.
Kelby is excited for his last semesters at the University of Iowa and looks forward to the opportunities he will be able to take part in during the remainder of his time there.
