Kenneth Liu is a 14-year-old 9th grader at Montgomery Blair High School in Maryland. Kenneth began playing piano at age of 5, and is currently a student of Dr. Labazevitch.
Kenneth has achieved remarkable success in various piano competitions, including being an alternate at the MTNA Junior Piano Competition state round (2022 & 2023), and first place finishes at Talents International piano competition online (2023), MSMTA Spring Festival Piano Solo Competition (2023, 2022 & 2021), MSMTA Gottlieb Competition (2022), Gertrude Brown Memorial Piano Concerto Competition (2022 & 2020), Carmel Klavier 7th International Piano Competition (2021), WMTA Hartman Piano Competition (2023, 2021), International Young Artist Piano Competition (2020 & 2017), Steinway Washington Piano Competition (2019), and more.
Kenneth has performed at Embassy of France, Embassy of Hungary in Washington, D.C., Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center, and Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Alongside his musical pursuits, Kenneth also enjoys playing table tennis, reading, drawing, and fishing.
