Kyle Ma, age 13, is an eighth-grade student at Hart Middle School in Pleasanton, California. He began playing piano at the age of 8, and is currently studying with Ms. Yi-Fang Wu. Inspired by the remarkable talent of his peers and the guidance of Ms. Wu, Kyle embraced his first challenge in the realm of piano by participating in the Charleston Music Competition. This marks a significant milestone in his ongoing musical journey, demonstrating his commitment to growth and excellence.
Kyle’s musical palette is enriched with a love for the timeless compositions of renowned masters such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Frederic Chopin. Their works serve as a profound source of inspiration for him as he continues to develop his artistry. In his spare time, Kyle likes oil painting, reading and cooking.
