Lapon Uavechanichkul

Lapon Uavechanichkul (Nate) began his piano studies at the age of four and have loved this instrument ever since. He achieved many ABRSM grades with distinctions and he was most proud of receiving a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 piano at the age of thirteen. The latest addition to his graded exams is the Licentiate of Trinity College London Piano (LTCL) Level 6 Diploma in Music Performance, awarded in August 2021. He is also a music scholar at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok and has studied piano under the tutelage of Dr. Chritopher Janwong McKiggan since 2017.

During the past couple of years, he have attended and won many piano competitions internationally. Some of the competitions that he won First Prizes include the London Youth Piano Competition 2021, Global International Music Competition 2021, The 3rd Student International Piano Olympics Competition 2020, The 6th Macao Asia Pacific and The Youth Piano Competition 2019 and International Music Competition Amsterdam Grand Prize Virtuoso 2019 in which he won both First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent (Special Prize).

In addition, he won 2nd Prize (Advanced Category) in the 6th Propiano International Competition, Silver Award in The 2021 Northern Lights International Piano Festival, 2nd Prize in The MAP International Music Competition 2021, Silver Award in The 3rd World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA) Finland International Piano Competition 2021, 2nd Prize winner in The Online Popular Piano Competition 2020 and other awards.

His most notable performances included hosting a charity concert called ‘Music Sharing” and performing at an outdoor annual arts, music, and lifestyle festival in Pattaya called the Wonderfruit Festival where he had the opportunity to perform on a massive stage in front of a huge crowd. In addition to this, he has also performed at many other international stages in various countries such as Amsterdam, Macau and many more
