Larisa Wangwittaya

Larisa (Risa) Wangwittaya is a 9 years old girl from Bangkok. She started studying piano at the age of four. At 6 years old, Risa joined Piano Academy of Bangkok under the guidance of Dr Pornphan Banternghansa and Dr Christopher Janwong McKiggan and has shown significant progress. Her first achievement was being awarded First Prize for the Paris Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition 2019 which she was the youngest winner selected to perform at the Philharmonie de Paris in April 2019. Risa was similarly awarded First Prize for the London Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition 2019 and performed at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2020, Risa was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC as a winner of AADGT International Young Gifted Musicians Festival 2020 and American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition 2020. She has since developed her musical skills and has been awarded prizes in many other national and international competitions including the SEA Piano Competition, Bangkok International Performing Arts Piano Competition, Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival, Piano League Piano Star International Competition, Vienna Music Competition, London Young Musician Competition and Students International Piano Olympics Competition. Apart from playing the piano, Risa enjoys singing very much.
