I started learning music at the age of 7 with the piano. In 5th grade, I picked up the violin because I thought my brother was cool, so I copied him when he picked up the violin. Since then, I’ve decided to focus more on the violin than the piano. Alongside learning music, I’ve also been dancing since the age of 7. Understanding what goes into producing music has made it easier to connect with every piece of music I dance to and express what the composer is trying to convey through their notes. I’m currently playing for my school’s highest-ranking orchestra and plan to continue playing and loving music for the rest of my life.
