Leila Zhang

I loves music since little. I started learning to play the piano at age 5, as a student at the International School of Music at Rockville, MD. I competed in this year’s International piano Competition by William Knabe Piano Institite, and I advanced into the semi-final round of Solo Division 3. At the age of 8, I decided to learn to play the viola, so that I can join the school’s orchestra. Last year, I was accepted into the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra. I am also an active member of my school’s orchestra.
