
Leo Shi started learning piano when he was five and is now a rising senior at Mayfield High School who resides in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. He currently studies under Dr. Shuai Wang, piano professor at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western University. Leo has performed at the OhioMTA Fall Festival, the Junior Fortnightly Musical Club, and the Atlanta Festival Academy. Additionally, he has also received 3 consecutive Superior ratings for the NFMC Spring Festival as well as Superior ratings for the OMEA Solo Ensemble Contest for his Piano Solos. Furthermore, Leo studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music Preparatory division from 2019-2021, where he received superior ratings on the annual piano exams. When not performing, Leo enjoys competitive debate, writing short stories, and volunteering in his community.
