My name is Liam Bonangelino and I am a rising high school sophomore. I have been passionate about music ever since I began learning the piano at age 5 under the guidance of my teacher, Ms. Natasha Dukan. I have taken the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Practical Piano Exams for Levels 7 and 8, both of which I successfully completed, and I am currently preparing for the Level 9 exam this month. I am aiming to finish all ten levels before the end of high school. Also, I organize and perform piano monthly at a local senior center as a chief intern along with regularly performing at various local senior centers and hospitals as a student volunteer. I truly enjoy sharing my music with others to make them happy.
I also later started to play the tenor trombone, both at school and outside of school. For the last two years, I have performed with the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra (MCYO) as principal trombone, Maryland All-State Junior Band, and County Junior Honors Band. Most recently, I participated in Trombone Summer Intensives at Interlochen Center for the Arts. By learning both piano and trombone, I feel my understanding and appreciation of music has become more profound. I also love to play soccer and hang out with my friends.
