Liana Drew Logan

Liana Logan is a 17 year old double bassist from Queens, NY. She is a senior at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, where she serves as the principal bassist for the Philharmonic Orchestra. She began playing the double bass at the age of ten and has been studying with renowned bassist Tim Cobb for the past two years. Liana is currently a Juilliard Pre-College student and was selected to participate in the prestigious NYO2 for two consecutive years.

Liana has performed at Carnegie Hall multiple times and has been a part of the Children’s Orchestra Society and the Inter-School Orchestras of New York. In 2023, she earned first prize in the Musiktage am Rhein Senior competition at the Germany Music Festival. While classical music is her first love, Liana also enjoys playing jazz, showcasing her versatility as a musician.
