Lina Chang is a rising Junior in Del Norte High School in San Diego. She had started playing the piano at around the age of six, and thus has been playing for ten years through the guidance of Sun Yung Cho. In music competitions, Lina has either won prizes or progressed to the final round. As of late, she has received the Third Place prize for the 2024 Baroque Music Competition from Charleston. She has also won multiple State Honor awards in a row from the Certificate of Merit music exams, and has made it to Level 10 in music theory. As of now, she volunteers by playing piano for residents in Villa Lorena, a nursing home. She has been volunteering for about two years, and intends to continue for as long as possible. Her care for music is what has carried her to play piano and delight in it for years.
