Lindsey Lee was born in Richmond, Virginia, and moved to Potomac, Maryland when she was around 7 years old. She started playing the violin when she was 6 years old and has been an avid player ever since. She currently studies Dr. Hyewon Yoon and she has been playing with the Maryland Youth Classical Orchestra for 6 years and recently joined the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. She was invited to play with the U.S. Army Orchestra and has won awards in many competitions such as the International Saint Saens Competition and the YMIC Music Festival. She is also an avid chamber music player and has won first place in USA Chamber, Ensemble, Duo, and Concerto International Music Competition by IYMC and was a finalist at the Misbin Chamber Music Competition. Some of her hobbies are reading books, listening to music, and playing with her dog.
