Logan Rylan Dinh

Logan Rylan Dinh is a junior at Portola High School in Irvine, California. He has been playing the piano since the age of 5. He passed the Music Teachers’ Association of California’s Certificate of Merit Level 10 piano exam with the highest honors (State Honors and Convention Honors). In 2023, he won 1st place in Crescendo International Music Competition with special invitational honor to Crescendo’s International Student Exchange Program 2023 (Japan), 1st places in Golden Classical Music Awards International Competitions for New York and for Los Angeles, and 1st place in Grand Prize Virtuoso International Competition (Salzburg, Austria at Solitar Mozarteum). In 2024, he won 1st place again in Crescendo International Music Competition with selective invitational honor to perform at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall, 1st place in Elite International Music Competition, and 1st place in Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition for New York. He has performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall and Zankel Hall in New York and also at Walt Disney Concert Hall’s BP Hall in Los Angeles. Locally, Logan has won 1st places in the Music Teachers’ Association of California’s 2022 Theme Festival, 2023 Baroque Festival, and 2023 Theme Festival. He is currently studying to sit for the AP Music Theory exam. During his downtime, Logan loves playing on his acoustic and electric guitars, practices for his high school’s junior varsity swim team, and volunteers at Orange County’s Discovery Cube.
