
Lorenzo Lambert Tiapon is 10 years old and is a rising fifth grader from Las Vegas, Nevada. From an early age, Lorenzo demonstrated great interest in music and piano. He often was found listening and humming to classical music and playing with toy instruments as a toddler.
Lorenzo began taking piano lessons in 2021 with pianist Sheila Browning. He has more recently been under the instruction of pianist Cindy Lee in Las Vegas, Nevada since July 2023. He has composed several of his own piano pieces, using his music to express his unsaid emotions. He describes his music as expressive and lively. His musical inspirations and favorite composers include Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Liszt. Lorenzo received Honorable Mention in the 2023 Nevada School of the Arts International Piano Competition in the Piano Solo Prodigy Group: age 9-12.
In addition to being a youth pianist and composer, Lorenzo is a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Youth Ambassador, and loves playing with his younger sister, Stella. In addition to continuing his love and passion for music, Lorenzo aspires to become an engineer.
