Lu Li, violinist
As a violin soloist, chamber musician and orchestra member, since the age of six, Lu Li, has appeared in Young Artist competitions and music festivals in China. She received her MM degree in France and USA, and completed DMA degree in violin performance, orchestral conducting and string pedagogy at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), USA, studied under Professor Kurt Sassmannshaus and Dr. Aik Khai Pung.
Ms. Li received supports from ArtsWave Music Foundation and Otto M.Budig Family Foundation, and has given over 15 solo recitals and over 70 chamber music recitals within the years she stays in United States. She is currently working in Queen City Opera, Springfield Symphony Orchestra and Lieto Quartet in Ohio, USA., and won position of Associate Concertmaster of Opera in the Ozarks in 2020 and fellowship of Miami Classical Music Festival in 2020-2021.
As an active violinist, Ms. Li has been invited to perform in several top international music festivals which include Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), Aspen Music Festival (USA), Northern Lights Music Festival (USA), Spoleto Festival (Italy), “Aujourd’hui” Music Festival (France), and Le Boulou Music Festival (France/Spain).
