Lucas Du is from the San Francisco Bay Area. He started playing piano at the age of 5. He has participated in multiple local, national, and international competitions and received a Distinction Honor certificate from ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) in Piano Performance Grade 8. Some of his achievements include winning first place at the International Music Competition “Salzburg & Barcelona” Grand Prize Virtuoso, second place at the US International Open Music Competition, second place at the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition, and many awards at the US Open Music Competition. He often performs at community events to promote music and fundraise for his community. In his free time, Lucas likes to play sports, draw, and listen to music.
