Lucas Henrique Teixeira Martins

Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Lucas Martins is a DMA candidate and graduate assistant at the University of Nevada Las Vegas under Weiwei Le and Ambroise Aubrun. He holds a Bachelor in Music from the University of Sao Paulo and a Master of Music from the University of Tennessee where he worked under Dr. Miroslav Hristov as a graduate teaching assistant. Lucas Martins is dedicated to sharing his Brazilian musical heritage; he co-produced two CDs in 2014 and 2016 respectively featuring chamber and solo works by South American composers. As a latecomer to the instrument, Lucas Martins is passionate about teaching and sharing classical music to young audiences.
