I’m Lucas Zhang, an 11-year-old from sunny San Diego. I’ve been tickling the piano keys for about 5-6 years, and Dr. Xiao-yan Sui is my current teacher. My favorite composers are Chopin and Mozart.
Playing the piano brings me many joy because I get to share a part of myself with everyone. I won the 1st place of Crescendo International Music competition twice in 2019 and 2021. Also later I was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2022, I participated the International Student Exchange Program in Italy where I had the opportunity to perform, participate in masterclasses, attend concerts, and explore four captivating cities.
When I’m not jamming on the piano, you can find me acing Math and Reading in school. I’m a total pro at basketball and games too!
