Hello my name is Lucy Lim. I am a sophomore in high school. I am an extroverted, outgoing, and funny person and always love to share my experiences with everyone. My music career started at the age of 10. I started off very slow and did not enjoy the cello that much until I started receiving awards. This made me more passionate about cello and made me want to become a better cellist and to have the mind to practice more. I have received many awards, and my proudest one is getting first prize in Golden Classical Music awards. My next proud award is getting second place in PIMC. I always have a hard time telling people how I feel so the cello is the best way I can let out my feelings. I love the cello because it helps me express my emotions instead of having my feelings stuck inside of me. Cello has really helped me solve many problems. The reason why I would love to go to this camp is because I really feel like I would be beneficial to you guys. Not only just that, this helps me improve much more and will give me motivation to do better. The people around me, the experience in this camp is much needed for me in order to have me wanting to practice and to have the mindset that I will become a greater and better cellist as I get older.
