Started his musical education at 9 years of age, studying at FAMUS, UANL, under the guidance of Natalia Tibets. Simultaneously, he studied with Dr. Anatoly Zatin and Vlada Vassilieva at IUBA, Colima.
He has obtained prizes in various national and international piano competition, such as Concurso Nacional de Piano Parnassós, Monterrey, Vancouver International Festival of Russian Music, The Carmel Klavier, Indianapolis, Shanghai International Youth Piano Competition, Shanghai, China, MTNA, Michigan, USA, Concorso Internazionale per Giovani Musicisti “Città di Barletta”, Chicago International Young Artist Concerto Competition, Enkor International Competition, among others.
In 2018, he was invited to perform as a soloist in the Antonio Ortiz Mena Historic Hall in the National Palace as part of the cycle “Jóvenes en la Música.” In 2019, he played in Sala Carlos Chávez at the University Cultural Center as a guest artist at UNAM’s International Piano Festival. That same year, he was invited to play at Ciudad de las Ideas, Puebla.
He has performed at halls and venues such as Teatro Luis Elizondo, Monterrey, Aula Magna, Monterrey, Teatro Hidalgo, Colima, Rudolph Ganz Hall, Chicago, Carnegie Hall, New York, Rudolfinum, Prague, to name a few.
He has taken masterclasses with world-renowned pianists such as Eduardo Delgado, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Yuri Bogdanov, Vadim Rudenko, HaeSun Paik.
Luis recently graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where he studied with Dr. Michael Coonrod.
