Luke Woodruff is an 8th grader at TH Roger Middle School in Houston, Texas. He started learning piano when he was 8 years old, and he is currently being taught by Ms. Tarana Taylor. Luke is a passionate music enthusiast, and he finds playing the piano to be an expressive outlet. He particularly enjoys playing pieces from the Romantic era. In 2022, he participated in the Houston Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival and earned a Superior Plus rating for his performance. Apart from his dedication to the piano, Luke is also actively involved in his middle school’s theatre program and plays tennis at Rice University.
