Lyria has been playing flute for around 6 years now, under the instruction of Dr. Ming Li. She is currently a member of the San Jose Youth Symphony (SJYS) Philharmonic Orchestra, and was a winner of the SJYS Young Artist Competition. In the past, Lyria has been accepted into advanced ensembles like the California All State Honor Band and the Santa Clara County Honor Band multiple times, and has performed with adult groups like the Peninsula Symphony.
