Marcus is 10 years old and began learning piano at Newton Music Academy in MA, USA with Dr. Synthia Sture at the age of 5. In 2021, Marcus won first place in Little Mozart International Competition and performed at Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall) in New York City. In 2022, 2023, 2024, Marcus won the first place in Crescendo International Competition and performed at Carnegie Hall and Rockport Music Center. In 2023, 2024, and 2025, Marcus received the Liszt award and Beethoven Award at the Piano Extravaganza! in Rhode Island and performed the honor recital. In summer 2024, Marcus performed two successful recitals at Classical Hugs Music Festival in Estonia. He also received the Gold Prize in the Amadeus International Music Awards 2024. He also received First prize in 2025 International Piano Competition.
