Marcus is 12 years old in MA, USA and began his piano studies at the Newton Music Academy with Dr. Synthia Sture at age five.
-Marcus has performed at Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall, 2022 and Weill Hall, 2023, 2024) and at the Rockport Music–Shalin Liu Performance Center (2025) after winning First Prize in the Little Mozart International Competition (2022) and the Crescendo International Competition (2023, 2024, 2025). Marcus received First Prize at the Crescendo International Competition 2026 and performed at Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall) Gala concert 2026.-Marcus received the first prize in the Beethoven Young Musician Competition 2025.
-He received the Liszt Award and the Beethoven Award at Piano Extravaganza! in Rhode Island (2023, 2024, 2025). Invited and performed the honors recital.
-Marcus was invited to the Classical Hugs Music Festival in Estonia (2024), where he participated in master classes with
world-renowned pianists and gave two acclaimed recital
performances.
-He also won the Gold Prize in the Amadeus International Music Awards in Austria (2024).
-Marcus also won First Prize in the Charleston International Piano Competition (2025). Also earned First Prize in the Summer Music Competition.
-Besides piano, Marcus enjoys tennis, golf, debate team, chess, and boy scouts.
