Marilyn Weng, aged 4, lives in Bay Area of Northern California. She is the youngest student at Y.W.Piano Studio in Fremont, California, and began playing when she was only 3. Marilyn won 2nd Place Medal at Bay Area Global Music Organization Featuring Music Competition in 2024. In the same year, she became the Fourth Prize winner for Charleston International Music Competition’s Milestone 50th event: the 18th Century Music Competition. Besides, she advanced to the final round for a bunch of prestigious piano competitions around the globe, including Amadeus International Music Awards 2024 at Salzburg, American Classical Music Awards 2024, BTHVN Wien Competition 2024 at Vienna, etc. Her passion for baroque and classical music is manifest, which is a result of her devotion to studying piano. Her dream is to become a professional pianist and composer in the future. Besides music, Marilyn also loves public speaking as well as sports such as golf and swimming, and she loves being on stage. She once won mini-queen title at California’s Our Little Miss Universal Pageant, as well as Most Charming, Prettiest Smile, and Best Talent Awards.
