Mark Chen

Mark Chen is 8 years old and is a third grade student at Chet’s Creek Elementary school. He started playing piano at the age of 7 and studies with Kamila Shahtakhtinski, NCTM. In the past year, he has participated in the NFMC festival with a superior performance. He has been awarded 3rd place in the Charleston International Music competition and received a honorable mention in the Florida Keys International Music Competition. Outside of piano he likes to play badminton . Mark also has a green advanced belt in Taekwondo.
