Mary Katherine Hamons started formal piano lessons at the age of seven. She loves to perform and enjoys creating a story for her audience. She has won 2nd and 3rd in two previous Charleston Music Competitions, has received Honorable Mention at multiple Austin District Music Teacher competitions, and has received five consecutive superior ratings at TFMC Junior Festivals in addition to top ratings at the state level. When she is not practicing piano, she loves reading and being outdoors.
