Mason Chang

Mason Chang is a ninth-grade student at The Harker School in San Jose, California. A dedicated pianist of nine years, Mason has earned national recognition for his musical talent, winning First Place in the 2023 American Protégé Competition and performing at Carnegie Hall. Mason placed first place in the Charleston New Year’s Musical Competition in 2025. His competitive record also includes being named Grand Champion at the California State Performing Arts Competition and a Double Grand Champion at the Greater Bay Area Performing Arts Talent Competition. Beyond the stage, Mason is committed to community service, frequently performing for residents at senior retirement centers. He balances his artistic pursuits with a passion for painting, basketball, and swimming.
