I was actively involved in competitive classical music from 7th grade all the way through my senior year of high school. I taught private lessons in my junior and senior years of high school, and I truly enjoyed doing that. Once I graduated high school, I joined the Army and put down music for several years, as I had gotten burnt out by the end of everything. As of this writing, I am about to get out of the military, and I picked it up again in September of 2023. My motivation is reinvigorated, and I am eager to try my best in this competition. I’m really trying to get into professional music, and my ultimate goal is to get a principal chair in a professional orchestra.
