Megan is currently a junior at Westlake High School. She has been taking piano lessons with Marina Gushansky since she was 5 years old. Megan has passed the Certificate of Merit examination with Honors every year and was chosen to perform at several MTAC conventions. She placed second at the Liana Cohen Music Festival and won the Southern California Junior Bach Festival branch and regional competitions. She was a second prize winner at the Great Composers Competition and had recently won the third prize in the Northern Lights Competition. She was a winner at the Young Artist Concerto Competition, and performed as a soloist with the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic. In addition to learning her solo repertoire, Megan loves to play duets with her two sisters.
