Xue Mengfei, born into a musical family, started her musical journey at the age of four, learning the piano alongside her mother. At 12, she gained attention after being admitted to the Attached Middle School of Xi’an Conservatory of Music, and in 2014, she secured a place at the prestigious Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore. During her time there, she earned the title of “best performance” and garnered numerous awards, including the second prize in the 2016 Singapore Piano Competition.
In 2018, she pursued her undergraduate degree at the Royal College of Music in London, graduating at the top of her class with a first-class degree. The following year, she entered the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for her master’s degree, graduating with distinction. In 2023, she earned the “Special Talent Award” scholarship at Arizona State University and studied under the guidance of Yamaha artist and Irish pianist Cathal Breslin, marking the official commencement of her performance career.
