
Mihály Bérczes was born in Nyíregyháza (Hungary) on 25/12/1977. At first he had private tutors (Ms Angéla Miklovich, Ms Gizella Krokovay).
In 2004 he gained admission to the college. In 2008 he graduated with highest marks at The Conservatory Béla Bartók Of The University of Miskolc as a piano teacher and performer of chamber music. His teacher was Ms Csilla Csabay. In 2007-2008 he participated in Zoltán Kocsis, László Gyimesi and Balázs Szokolay’s masterclasses.
After the diploma, he worked as a piano accompanist in the Hungarian Dance Academy (Budapest, Hungary).
Two years later he worked as a piano teacher, however he played on concerts as a soloist and an accompanist. His chamber partner was Ms Zsuzsanna Vincze violinsit. They give violin-piano concerts together between 2011-2013,2015,2017 and in 2023 in Budapest, Budakeszi Cegléd, Sátoraljaújhely and Nyíregyháza.
In September 2014 he entered The Conservatory Béla Bartók Of The University of Miskolc, to follow a MA study with Ms Marica Tóth (DLA). In 2015 Mihály obtained a Master’s degree in qualified piano teacher.
He currently working as a piano teacher near Debrecen (Hungary). Apart from active teaching teaching, he considers competitions but also concerting an important part of his musical career. He give four solo recital in Baktalórántháza- Dessewffy-Mansion between 2016-2022. Between he was a participiant five times as a soloist of Online Music Concert (TAFU’s Art for Nature).
Mihály Bérczes has a very wide repertoire. He most often plays baroque (Bach, Handel) and romantic (Schubert, Chopin, Schumann) works as both a soloist and a chamber musician.
