Mikaela Mary George

Mikaela George is a junior at Aragon High School in San Mateo, California and is a dedicated member of the music community there. Mikaela has been singing for more than eleven years and is a member of Aragon’s Chamber Choir, Women’s Ensemble, co-ed A Capella club, and Tri-M Honor Society chapter. Mikaela is also the Vice President of the Aragon Music Project and Secretary of Choir Council at Aragon. Outside of school, Mikaela is a soprano in the Peninsula Girls Chorus in Burlingame and is a member of their highest chorus level, Ensemble. She is also a featured performer, audition panelist, and board member of BAYCO Foster City, a music community group based in the Bay Area. Mikaela has been honored to attend and perform in the ACDA Western and National Conferences’ SSAA Honor Choirs in Salt Lake City, Long Beach and Cincinnati. She has also performed in the yearly MTAC Certificate of Merit Musical Evaluations, for which she is currently pursuing her tenth and final voice level, having achieved state honors and performing in the MTAC Certificate of Merit conventions previously. Mikaela is also a musical theater enthusiast and can often be found performing in productions in the Bay Area. Mikaela wholeheartedly enjoys sharing music in her community and regularly organizes and performs in solo concerts in senior living homes and community centers. She could not imagine a life without music and aims to bring others and subsequently herself joy through singing and performing.
