Milos Mrvaljevic is a 17-year-old senior at Metropolitan Schoolhouse and a baritone from Chicago. His family recognized his musical talents at a young age; Milos began playing the violin when he was three years old and first started singing in the St. Luke’s choir when he was 6. At St. Luke’s, he has participated in performances from the late Renaissance to modern sacred music. He recently sang two solos from the Durufle Requiem. He comes from a very musical background. His mother is a professional pianist, and his father is a former trombonist. Milos has been taking voice lessons at The Musical Offering for the past two years, has studied pieces from Se Vuol Ballare, from Le Nozze Di Figaro, and has performed many pieces, such as The People That Walked In Darkness, from Handel’s Messiah. Milos has attended the Interlochen Voice Intensive and Opera Programs, where he has participated in multiple master classes and sang in the Honors Choir. He has also completed a residency over the summer with St. Luke’s in Chester Cathedral, England.
