
Minghang Wang is a 20 years old baritone from Hangzhou, China, current a third year undergraduate student majoring vocal performance at Eastman School of Music, under the tutelage of Dr. Jonathan Retzlaff and Kiera Duffy. The role he has performed at Eastman including Riolobo in Florencia en el Amazonas, Ein Musiklehrer in Ariadne auf Naxos, Marquis de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites and chorus member in Alcina. Last summer he joined Berlin Opera Academy as a Festival Singer, where he sang Guglielmo in Così fan tutte. He also joined American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria as a lieder studio singer where he has performed as a soloist with AIMS orchestra and sang in the Lieder Concert. Next summer, he will join Chautauqua Opera Conservatory where he will be performing Melisso in Alcina. He has received Eastman Artist Scholarship from Eastman School of Music and Zenaida Piontkovsky Memorial Scholarship from Berlin Opera Academy.
