
Mirei Okita, born in 2013 in Los Angeles, California, began playing the piano at the age of three and has since amassed numerous prestigious awards. In 2023, she achieved 2nd place and received the Waltz Special Award in the D Division of the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition, performing at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall at just nine years old. That same year, she was awarded 1st place and the Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize at the Golden Classical Music Award in Los Angeles.
In 2024, Mirei continued to distinguish herself, securing 2nd place and the Polonaise Special Award in the E Division of the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition. Additionally, she claimed 1st place with the Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize at the Golden Classical Music Award in both Los Angeles and New York, performing at world-renowned venues, including Carnegie Hall and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, at the age of ten.
