Mone Sugihara was born in Tokyo, Japan and started learning the piano at the age of five. She has participated in multiple auditions since she was a child, earning multiple honourable mentions and the Kanto-Regional Excellence Award.
She is currently majoring in Aesthetics and science of Arts instead of Music Performance in the University, but continues to actively study piano as an extracurricular activity.
