Morgan Webster, born and raised in Pass Christian Mississippi, is a Jazz and Classical Saxophonist. He started his professional career while in high school, performing at places such as Carnegie Hall in New York, and competing in the international Lions Club parade in Japan and Chicago. Webster has competed in many competitions, including MTNA and the GCBDA McDonald’s scholarship competition. He placed first in both competitions. He has also performed with many honor bands including the USM All-South honor band and the Mississippi All-State Band in Natchez, in which he sat principle player in both ensembles. Webster also likes to play in the community. He has played at local supermarkets and malls to entertain shoppers, as well as reunions and dance recitals. He now studies Saxophone at USM with Dr. Dannel Espinoza and previously Dr. Lawrence Gwozdz and Mr. Larry Panela. His career goals are to be known as an outstanding performer and a renowned saxophonist in the field.
