
Narin Kim, seventeen, is a senior at Schaumburg High School in Illinois. Narin has been playing the clarinet since the fifth grade and has competed in local, national, and international competitions. She has participated in the Schaumburg Youth Orchestra and is part of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. Last year, Narin placed first prize through the American Protege International Woodwinds & Brass Competition. She was also part of both Honor Band and Orchestra in her school’s district the past year and was principal clarinetist for the orchestra.
